For counselling services:

You do not need a referral to access my services, however, if you would like to receive a Medicare Rebate, you can talk to your GP about getting a Mental Health Treatment Plan. The fee for a standard 50 – 60-minute consultation is $160.00, however, with a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will receive $88.25 as a rebate through Medicare. You are eligible for up to 20 sessions per calendar year where you can claim a Medicare rebate.  If you have health insurance, please consult with your insurer regarding your mental health coverage.

If you are wanting to claim the Medicare rebate, it is important that you obtain your GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan prior to your first appointment. When making your GP appointment it is recommended that you request a 'long consultation' with your GP. This enables you to have more time to discuss your concerns and specific needs.

Each GP referral enables you to have up to 20 individual counselling sessions in a calendar year. This also includes Skype counselling (Telehealth).

Please note that both Medicare and private health insurance cannot be claimed at the same time.

Unfortunately I do not offer Bulk Billing.

There are no out of pocket expenses for seeing a psychologist using your NDIS funding. I accept NDIS participants who are:

  • Plan Managed

  • Self-Managed

Once you have decided how much of your NDIS funding you wish to allocate towards your psychological services, all you will need to do is sign an NDIS Service Agreement and you’re good to go.

A cancellation policy applies to all unattended appointments that remain unfilled. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice (or if you fail to attend) will incur a cancellation/non-attendance fee of $75. You will not be charged if the appointment slot is booked by another client. Medicare will not reimburse you for missed or cancelled appointments, so please note this will be an out-of-pocket expense.

If you require a letter, report, or other documentation, please contact me for a copy of the current Australian Psychological Society Schedule of Fees, which lists recommended fees for all psychologists.
