Medicare rebates are available to eligible clients who would like Skype counselling

 

Beginning September 1, 2018, remote clients can use their Mental Health Treatment Plan for Skype counselling. Clients who live outside of metropolitan areas are eligible to access Medicare Telehealth Counselling. Check here to see if you are living in an eligible region (select Modified Monash Model on the right. You must be living in an MMM4 to MMM7 region). Clients are required to have a stable visual and audio link with their psychologist. 

 

Anyone can access Skype counselling sessions privately without a GP referral. The standard fee of $150.00 per session will apply. Payment for the Skype session is required at the beginning of the consultation.
